Ascend the mountain on foot to 1050ft, descend using the chairlift, and continue this cycle 28 times until you reach the summit elevation of Mount Everest!
More than a hike, MacEverest fosters a community, one where like-minded people support each other to achieve something exceptional through sheer will and determination.
Nestled within Scotland’s awe-inspiring Glencoe landscape, MacEverest welcomes participants to take on a profound personal journey – climbing 29,029 feet, the full elevation of Mount Everest in just 36 hours.
The event is self-supported and requires each participant to prepare adequately for the challenge. However, there will be lots of amazing energy from other participants, supporting each other throughout the 36 hours. And support crews too. It will be challenging and FUN!
There will also be First Aiders and ground staff to ensure everyone’s safety throughout the event.
